'The Science Bridge' initiative is a scientific mission with a social goal. In our proposed 'Twin Institutes', we will bring together neuroscientists from the West, the Middle-East and other nations to conduct research on the brain and the nervous system. With our collective minds and hearts focused towards a common goal, we will strive to understand complex brain functions and also find treatments for neurological and psychiatric disorders such as Alzheimer's, while at the same time improve relations between diverse world cultures. Our researchers are accomplished scientists in the field of neuroscience from around the world who share our vision and commitment. Through scientific collaboration, we will also take a positive step towards peace between the West and the Middle-East, in particular, and between the West and the Muslim world, in general, by demonstrating that the two can work together for the benefit of humanity.
